The Power of Consistency
There are many ways to influence others, but today I will only discuss one of which interests me greatly. It is only one strategy but it uses several methods to achieve its desired outcome. It has proven to be EXTREMELY powerful when used correctly. It is something that can be utilized within just about anything where influence and decisions are needed. I know you will all amoxil buy only use these secret powers for the good of man...RIGHT?!
Today I was thinking back when I got started in this industry; when I went to hotel meetings and other training events. I remember the "company overview" where I signed the papers to become part of the company. I was totally unsure about it and opted to sign up but give my money later. The opportunity seemed amazing, I just didn't really know if I was ready yet. The next day my upline came over to my place, sat down with me, and gave me a better understanding of the business. This is same day I finished signing papers, I wrote my "why," I made my list, and had begun to call that list. Little did I know the whole time there levitra cost were very powerful influential forces being used on me and it was only me making them stronger. I had no idea of what they were (nor did my upline) but I later found out exactly what they were.
This all has probably happened to you at some point or another. People speak with you and have you sign up for things and you do it, then the next day you want to quit but something is keeping you from doing so. What is that something? That something is nothing other than YOU fulfilling you need to be consistent with the decisions you make. Yes, this is a powerful, powerful tool of influence.
Just like anything, there are many levels of consistency. It is said that the more stuff you go through for something, the more that you tend to value things. For example, buy online amoxil I would go through tons of lead sheets and westernunion call 100s of people to only buy ampicillin get 1 new signup in my business. This one signup was like Christmas for me because I had went though all the garbage but ended up getting what I wanted in the end. But just how it works so well for the positive, it works well for the negative. I would be equally as depressed when that same signup would fall out of my business because I valued them so much. So what I want you to take from this is the more you put a person through for something, the more they will value it in the end. If you don't believe me go ask you friend that is in a fraternity how valuable the frat and the experience was to them.
Another way my consistency was being used against me was through MY written statements. I filled out the paperwork, I wrote my "why," and I wrote emails and letters to people on my list about me and my business. Just the simple act of writing down commitments forces a person to be more committed than if they hadn't written it down. This is why salesmen, especially car salesmen, are so insistent on getting you to sign something. They know that even though it may not seem like much to you, your brain looks at it as a commitment and that most humans have a strange desire to be consistent with their commitments due to the social fears that comes with a person who is seen by their peers as inconsistent. Know that the simple act of having someone write their commitment down can benefit them, you, or you both in a huge way.
Lastly, being consistent with your decisions also stems from what others expect you to be like. Basically, what others say you are, you tend to try living up to their expectations. One of my favorite books of all time, "Influence: Science and Practice," by Robert Cialdini, speaks of this exact influence mechanism. In an example, Robert says there was a couple that he had studied that had been told that they were very charitable. The next week a canvasser for the Multiple buy generic amoxil Sclerosis Association knocked on their door asking for a contribution, and the couple gave the young man more than twice as much as they normally would have. In their mind at the time they see this boy asking for a charity donation, and they think, "Of course we are going to give a donation! We are charitable people! This is what we do!" This is why I believe that in leadership positions it is huge for leaders to praise their followers and encourage them. You cialis for order tell them they are great at something, they start to believe they are, and they end up actually becoming one of the best you know at buy generic propecia whatever it is you told them they were skilled at.
I would like to leave you guys with that, and now its up to you of how you want to incorporate these powers into your copywriting or whatever you choose. I look forward to knowing how you guys feel about this subject and would love to hear about your experiences.
Also, let me reassure you before I get asked all these questions...Although I was unsure at the beginning, I became sure over time that this industry was where I wanted to be (Not just my consistency talking anymore). I never had to be convinced to do this business and none of you should be trying to convince people to become part of this industry. You can present buy cheap acomplia them with the opportunity but is should only be left up to them to join the industry. Then and only then will they stay awhile, give it their all, and are the likely one in being successful. Take care and talk with you tomorrow!!
